Fishing in the Kenora area is a year round activity. During the summer months, you can spend the day out on the lake fishing with friends. In the winter, ice fishing provides a fun way to get out and enjoy the outdoors.
Kenora is located in Fisheries Management Zone 4,5. In our area, people can fish for walleye, lake trout, muskie, northern pike, crappie, perch, sauger, small and large mouth bass. However, there are Open Season dates that must be strictly adhered to while fishing various lakes in the area and a valid license is required to fish.
