Back to SearchThe City and FIREFLY invite the youth of Kenora, ages 12 to 25, to submit photographs to show what they love most about living in Kenora.
The photographs will help contribute to the City of Kenora’s Crime Prevention and Community Well-Being (CPCWB) Advisory Committee’s understanding of what youth view as positive parts of Kenora, which will be incorporated into the Community Safety and Well-Being Plan. The Committee will feature and use some photos in future publications.
A total of three top prize packages and nine random draw prizes will be awarded.
The top three photos, one in each age category (ages 12 to 15, 16 to 20, and 21 to 25), will receive a prize package valued at approximately $300 each as selected by a panel of judges from the CPCWB Advisory Committee. The top three prize packages include a pair of Apple AirPods, a 40oz Stanley Quencher H2.0 Tumbler, and branded promotional items from FIREFLY and the City.
To encourage youth participation at all photography skill levels, the CPCWB Advisory Committee will award nine random draw prizes. Winners will receive one of the following: a JBL Go 4 portable speaker, a 40 oz Stanley Quencher H2.0 Tumbler, or a Spotify gift card.
Participants may submit up to three images that capture what they love most about their community. Submissions will be accepted until Sunday, September 15, 2024.

Winners will be contacted by phone or email by a judge from the CPCWB Advisory Committee on Monday, September 30, 2024.
