Norman Drive Road Closed Due to Significant Water Main Break

Please be advised that there is a significant water main break at Norman Drive, and repair crews are currently on-site addressing the issue. As a result, an emergency closure of Norman Drive and surrounding roads is in effect. Traffic control will be in place. 

We urge all Keewatin residents to reduce their water usage during this time. 

For those planning travel to and from the Norman and Keewatin areas, please use the Kenora Bypass to help facilitate the repair work and minimize travel disruptions. 

City staff are working diligently to complete the repairs. 

At this time, we do not have a confirmed date or time for the reopening of Norman Drive and the other affected roads.

We will keep the public informed with updates regarding the progress of the repairs and the reopening of the roads as information becomes available.
