Back to SearchPlease be advised that the Cemetery Staff has started the spring clean-up of the cemetery grounds in preparation for seasonal maintenance.
Clean up involves removing personal items from gravesites, including:
- Flowers or wreaths placed on graves from previous funeral services
- Glass containers, ceramic décor, and other breakable items
- Disheveled, damaged, faded, and broken items will be removed
- Stuffed animals
- Out of season décor, such as Christmas, Thanksgiving, or Halloween
As per By-law 6-2014 and By-law Amendment 106-2019, items that are removed from gravesites will be available for pick up at the Cemetery Garage located at the northeast end of the Cemetery until Sunday, June 1.
After June 1, all remaining items will be discarded.
We thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we begin seasonal groundskeeping at the Cemetery.
