Back to SearchTourism Kenora is pleased to announce our annual winter culinary event Frost Bites is happening throughout March. Nine participating restaurants will feature delicious new menu items each week. The event begins on Sunday, March 2, and the menu for each week will be as follows:
- Week one: burger week
- Week two: poutine week
- Week three: tacos week
- Week four: pasta week
How it works
When you order one of the special menu items at any of the participating restaurants, you will receive a stamp on your Frost Bites passport. Each stamp earned is equivalent to one ballot, which will be entered into a draw at the end of the event. Completed passports must be delivered to the Lake of the Woods Discovery Centre by Wednesday, April 9, at 12 p.m. Winners will be announced the following day.
Participating restaurants in the Frost Bites winter culinary event include:
- Boathouse
- 901 Westside
- Bob’s Burger
- Cottage Time
- Lake of the Woods Brew Co
- Casey’s Grill & Bar
- Reddens
- Bella’s
- Gropp’s Grab and Go
Frost Bites passports will be available at City Hall, One Main Street South, and the Lake of the Woods Discovery Centre, 931 Lakeview Drive, as well as the participating restaurants.
