Bridge Washing Program and Traffic Delays

Please be advised that there will be traffic delays on municipal bridges starting on Monday, May 6, as City crews begin the spring bridge washing program. 

The maintenance work will start on the Winnipeg River East Branch Bridge (hospital bridge) and proceed west, followed by the Matheson Street Bridge, all bridges to the east, and finally, bridges on the north roads. 

City crews will be on site at 4:00 a.m. on weekdays for the next few weeks. Please watch for signage and slow down in the work area. 

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work to remove winter sand from the bridges.
