Home Delivery Service
Let us bring the library to you!
The Kenora Public Library's Home Delivery Service is a free service to Kenora and Keewatin residents who are experiencing difficulty visiting the library due to:
- Mobility Issues (short or long term)
- Illness (short or long term)
- Disability (short or long term)
Our screened volunteers will deliver materials to homebound residents in their own homes (within City of Kenora limits) as well as those residing in long-term care facilities.
Materials from our collection are selected by qualified staff based on your preferences and requests. There are many different materials residents can choose, including large print and regular print books, audiobooks, magazines, DVD's, and more.
For residents with Print Disabilities, there is a CNIB Victor Reader (a digital media audio player) available for loan. We can also help residents register with the Centre for Equitable Library Access (CELA) which is a public library service for Canadians with print disabilities. CELA provides immediate access to books, newspapers, and magazines in formats that people with print disabilities can read, such as audio, digital text, and braille.
Registration for Home Delivery Service is quick and easy! Applications may be filled out by the patron, or by someone on their behalf.
