The City is excited to announce the approval of six funding applications from the Provincial Government, which will add enhancements to the City’s infrastructure, improving the overall experience for both residents and visitors.

This afternoon, Central Community Club board members along with Mayor and Council officially marked the start of construction at Central Park which will create a brand new recreational amenity in the heart of the City.

City administration and the Central Community Club Board have been working diligently with the general contractor and architect to finalize the details for the construction of the new Central Community Club facilities.
The construction work the public may have observed in the park area during the late summer months were related to the underground work required to the civil infrastructure upgrades. These works were completed in late September and were an integral part of the project.
