New Crosswalk Fifth Street South and Highway 17 E

Please be advised that there is a new pedestrian crossing located at the Fifth Street South and Highway 17 E intersection.
As the intersection is new, both motorists and pedestrians should proceed with caution while using the intersection.
The pedestrian crossing signal is activated in conjunction with a green light for northbound traffic on Fifth Street South.
Motorists are asked to take extra time ensuring the crosswalk is clear of pedestrians prior to proceeding onto Highway 17 E.
