National non-profit is given the greenlight for fundraising campaign The Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) and the City of Kenora reached a deal today regarding the future sale of Town Island. City to Develop Sustainability Action Plan

The City is pleased to announce a process to develop its first Sustainability Action Plan is underway, which is due to be completed by the end of 2021.
City Staff and the new Sustainability Advisory Committee will work together to develop an action-orientated plan. The early stage of the process will involve public engagement opportunities to gather information about how to build a more sustainable community.

City Reveals New Parking Kiosks

The City has revealed a modernized method for motorists to pay for parking. New “pay-by-plate” parking kiosks have been installed in different locations in downtown and have now been activated.
To use the “pay–by-plate” method, the vehicle plate number is required. The customer parks at metered space and then finds the closest kiosk to enter plate information and purchase parking time.
