The City of Kenora is pleased to announce the appointment of David Pratt as the City’s next Director of Emergency Services and Fire Chief.
Chief Pratt takes over the reins from the current Chief, Kent Readman, effective December 5, 2022. Chief Pratt has been serving as the Deputy Fire Chief since March 2022.

The City of Kenora is reminding citizens about parking for snow clearing this winter.
Please keep the snow and ice on your property when cleaning your yard and driveway after a snow fall. Do not push or pile snow onto municipally-owned streets and sidewalks. When snow is piled on the street or blocks the sidewalk, it is difficult and unsafe for the snow plow operators to clear the snow.

Today, Tuesday, November 16, Council directed administration to install the new Coney Island Footbridge structure with temporary construction railings and lighting to ensure access to Coney Island continues for the 2022/2023 winter season.

The Métis flag has reserved permanent residency outside Kenora City Hall as a symbol of the City’s ongoing commitment to Indigenous reconciliation.
