Sealed tenders for: Building Custodial Services (2026-2029) Tender Number: 26-999-2 will be received by:
City of Kenora (the “City”) at 1 Main Street South, Kenora, ON P9N 3X2, Attention: Deputy City Clerk

Time and date for Tender Closing is 11:00:00 a.m. CST on Thursday, January 29, 2026 (the “Tender Closing”)

1. The work to be undertaken generally involves but is not necessarily limited to the provision of regular custodial services at six (6) City of Kenora buildings (the “Work”) as set out in the attached Instructions to Tenderers and Appendices.
2. The documents for the work can be obtained from MERX, the City of Kenora Website, or the reception desk on the second floor of the City of Kenora Operations Centre located at 60 Fourteenth Street North, Kenora, Ontario.
3. All written inquiries regarding the Work shall be emailed to Chris Lock, General Manager, Capital Project Delivery at clock@kenora.ca, however the bidder(s) acknowledge and agree that the City does not have an obligation to provide a response to any written inquiry and that it is in the sole and unfettered discretion of the City to provide any written response to a written inquiry. Telephone inquiries will not be replied to.
4. Submission of a tender by a Bidder gives the City the right to require the Bidder to execute the contract to perform the Work as set out within the tender documents. Tenders may not be withdrawn after the Tender Closing and will be irrevocable and open for acceptance by the City for a period of sixty (60) days following the end of the day of the Tender Closing. The Successful Bidder will be notified in writing of the award of the Tender when the City delivers a letter of intent to the Successful Bidder.

Sealed tenders for Central Park Greenspace Construction (the “Project”) Tender Number: 711-001-24A
will be received by City of Kenora (the “City”) at 1 Main Street South, Kenora, ON P9N 3X2, Attention: City Clerk

Time and date for Tender Closing is 11:00:00 a.m. CDT on Thursday, January 29, 2026 (the “Tender Closing”)

1. The work to be undertaken generally involves but is not limited to the completion of site development at the Central Community Club in Kenora, Ontario including grading, paving, drainage, supply and installation of a shade structure, lighting, plantings, sod and playground surfaces, and installation of owner-supplied playground equipment, as well as storm sewer reconstruction work along First Street South fronting the Central Community Club (the “Work”). The work is more specifically set out on the drawings and specifications included in Appendix B of the tender documents.
2. The City's consultant for the Project is Scatliff + Miller + Murray Inc.
3. The Successful Bidder shall achieve final performance of the Work for the Project by October 31, 2026.
4. The drawings and specifications for the Project are included with the tender package or can be obtained from the reception desk on the second floor of the City of Kenora Operations Centre located at 60 Fourteenth Street North, Kenora, Ontario at no cost to the proponent.
5. All written inquiries regarding the technical aspects of the drawings and specifications for the Work shall be emailed to Andrew Johnson at ajohnson@scatliff.ca  and cc’d to Stefan Stiller at sstiller@kenora.ca, however the bidder(s) acknowledge and agree that the City does not have an obligation to provide a response to any written inquiry and that it is in the sole and unfettered discretion of the City to provide any written response to a written inquiry. 6. Sealed tenders for 2026 Hourly Equipment and Truck Rental (the “Project”) will be received by City of Kenora (the “City”) at 1 Main Street South, Kenora, ON P9N 3X2, Attention: City Clerk.

Time and date for Tender Closing is 11:00:00 a.m. CST/CDT on January 15, 2026 (the “Tender Closing”).

1. The work to be undertaken generally involves, but is not necessarily limited to: Work as Assigned with Trucks and equipment being equipped with the required accessories (gravel or rock box, snow boards, other attachments). (the “Work”).
2. All written inquiries regarding the technical aspects of the work drawings and specifications for the Work shall be emailed to Roger Wilcott at rwilcott@kenora.ca, however the bidder(s) acknowledge and agree that the City does not have an obligation to provide a response to any written inquiry and that it is in the sole and unfettered discretion of the City to provide any written response to a written inquiry. Telephone inquiries will not be replied to.

Sealed tenders for 2026 Call-Out Municipal Snow Plowing (the “Project”) will be received by City of Kenora (the “City”) at 1 Main Street South, Kenora, ON P9N 3X2, Attention: City Clerk.

Time and date for Tender Closing is 11:00:00 a.m. CST/CDT on January 15, 2026 (the “Tender Closing”).

1. The work to be undertaken generally involves, but is not necessarily limited to: Plowing of Assigned Municipal Streets or Roads as assigned (the “Work”).
2. All written inquiries regarding the technical aspects of the work drawings and specifications for the Work shall be emailed to Roger Wilcott at rwilcott@kenora.ca, however the bidder(s) acknowledge and agree that the CITY does not have an obligation to provide a response to any written inquiry and that it is in the sole and unfettered discretion of the City to provide any written response to a written inquiry. Time and date for Tender Closing is 11:00:00 a.m. CST/CDT on January 15, 2026 (the “Tender Closing”).

1. The work to be undertaken generally involves, but is not necessarily limited to: Tree Cutting and Stump Grinding. Trucks and equipment shall be equipped with the required accessories (Trucks, chippers, and Stump Grinders, Bucket lifts, other attachments). (the “Work”).
2. Work shall be assigned on an on-call, as needed basis.
3. All written inquiries regarding the technical aspects of the work drawings and specifications for the Work shall be emailed to Roger Wilcott at rwilcott@kenora.ca, however the bidder(s) acknowledge and agree that the City does not have an obligation to provide a response to any written inquiry and that it is in the sole and unfettered discretion of the City to provide any written response to a written inquiry. City of Kenora (the “City”) at 1 Main Street South, Kenora, ON P9N 3X2, Attention: City Clerk.

Time and date for Tender Closing is 11:00:00 a.m. CDT on Thursday, January 15, 2026 (the “Tender Closing”)

1. The work to be undertaken generally involves, but is not necessarily limited to the supply and installation of site development including; wood pergola, wood decking, skirting, and structure, wood ramp, hand and guard rails, crushed stone surfacing, site furnishing, lighting, landscaping and all related elements on the grounds of McLeod Park in Kenora, Ontario (the “Work”) as set out on the list of drawings and specifications included in Appendix B and C of the tender documents.
2. The City’s consultant for the Project is HTFC Planning & Design Inc.
3. The Successful Bidder shall achieve final performance of the Work for the Project by October 31, 2026.
4. The drawings and specifications for the Project are included with the tender package or can be obtained from the reception desk on the second floor of the City of Kenora Operations Centre located at 60 Fourteenth Street North, Kenora, Ontario at no cost to the proponent.
