Mellick Avenue Closure for Guard Rail Work

Please be advised the Mellick Avenue between Rabbit Lake Road and Fourteenth Street North will be closed to traffic on Tuesday, August 13, and Wednesday, August 14.
The closure is necessary to allow for guard rail replacements at the north end of Mellick Avenue.
Detour signs will be posted directing traffic to Fourteenth Street North and Veterans Drive.
We appreciate the public’s patience and cooperation during this work.

Main Street South Temporary Closure

Please be advised that Main Street from First Street South to Second Street South will be closed and designated as a ‘No Parking Zone’ on Saturday, August 17, 2024, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Main Street Market will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is free to attend and open to the public. The ‘No Parking Zone’ will be established in the morning to allow vendors, shops, and food trucks time to set up.

Enhancing Lake Access to Black Sturgeon Lake Property Owners Association

The City is pleased to announce a significant contribution from the Municipal Accommodation Tax (MAT) to the Black Sturgeon Lake Property Owners Association (BSLPOA). First Avenue South Lane Closure

Please be advised that on Tuesday, August 13, traffic will be reduced to one lane on First Avenue South from the corner of Matheson Street South to Fourth Avenue South.
Traffic will be controlled by flagging. Motorists are advised to obey traffic control and use caution through the work area.
The lane closure is necessary to allow Enbridge Gas to work on their gas line to the vacant lot in the area.
