Kenora Pickleball Club

Pickleball – the great game with the funny name – is a combination of tennis, volleyball and ping pong played on a hard surface court with a solid racket similar to a large ping pong paddle and with a wiffle ball. Come out and try this fun new game whether you are a beginner or have experience. WARNING: Pickleball can be extremely addictive!

The new permanent pickleball courts are located at the Garrow Park facility on Rabbit Lake and are open to the community.  The courts are open from 9 am until 8 pm.

There is no charge to use the courts; however, the Kenora Pickleball Club offers a membership for $40 for the year, includes balls, group open play, competitive play, tournaments, and indoor winter play.  $5.00 drop-in fee for non-members to anyone wishing to play with the Club.

The Kenora Pickleball Club has over 100 members and is open to ages 18 or older.

How to register: email or check out the Kenora Pickleball Club Facebook page for times.

Ontario Trillium Foundation,  New Horizons for Seniors Program (Government of Canada), Kenora and Lake of the Woods Community Foundation, Weyerhaeuser Giving Fund, and other generous local donors supported the development of the permanent pickleball courts.

The new courts were officially opened on July 20, 2019.
