Registration opens at 8:00 AM for each session at the Kenora Recreation Centre. Please check the session dates below.

Please Note: Classes fill quickly – register early to avoid disappointment.

If you haven’t already done so, we recommend that you set up your online profile before Tuesday morning or check to see that you remember your password. This will help reduce panic on registration day.

Also please review the new change rooms rules before coming to the pool.

NOTE child must be the minimum age on the first day of lessons.

Classes for babies & toddlers accompanied in the water with a parent or caregiver. A water safety instructor will help you get the most out of the pool experience. Build confidence through active water play & movement. Five classes per session. 9:15 – 9:45am: Tots ages 24 – 36 months
9:50 -10:20am: Babies ages 3 – 12 months
10:25 – 10:55am: Babies ages 12 – 24 months

Kids (Parented Levels 1-2)
Swimmers age 5 – 12 years learn how to be safe around water, & increase swimming ability, fitness & endurance through fun activities. Children must be 5 yrs. of age on the first day of lessons.
A Parent/Caregiver must be in the water with each child for Swim Kids 1 -2.
6 – 6:30 pm: Swim Kids 1/2, 3/4
6:45 – 7:30 pm: Swim Kids 5/6, 7/8, 9/10

Sensory Swim Lessons
(Parented)
Lessons for children who need quieter swimming time, with smaller class rations. The classes will follow the Red Cross Swim Kids Adapted format. Sessions will consist of a mix of instructional time and exploratory learning time. A Parent/Caregiver must be in the water with each child due to COVID restrictions. 1:00 to 1:45 pm Saturdays

Teen / Adult Lessons Classes for adults & teens who would like to become confident in the water, learn or improve on skills, strokes or fitness. The Red Cross provides two levels, Swim Basics & Swim Strokes. Set your goal & the Instructors will help you get there!
