Swim Lesson Registration

opens at 8:00 AM for each session at the Kenora Recreation Centre. Please check the session dates below.

NOTE child must be the minimum age on the first day of lessons.

Standard First Aid For people who want a general knowledge of First Aid Principles, includes CPR Training, recognized by OWSIB. Not restricted to Aquatics Candidates, no pool sessions. National Lifeguard An industry standard for professional lifeguards in Canada. Train to become water rescue professionals trained in emergency care. Lifeguards prevent accidents, are trained to spot potential trouble and intervene before it becomes life-threatening. Pre-requisite – Candidates must be 16 years of age by the last day of the course, have taken Bronze Cross and Standard First Aid (need not be current) 8:30 am – 4:30 pm June 9, 10, 14, 15, 16 $235
Principles of Healthy Child Development HIGH FIVE training for front line leaders who work with children ages 6-12. People who take Principles of Healthy Child Development have a better understanding of what children need in sport and recreation programs.
