Registration opens at 8:00 AM for each session at the Kenora Recreation Centre. Please check the session dates below.

If you are registering by phone, a copy of the required certification card must be faxed to the attention of Crystal Stokes, Aquatic Facilitator, at 807-467-2132.

NOTE child must be the minimum age on the first day of lessons.

Canadian Swim Patrol This program provides enriched training for those are ready to go beyond swimming lessons. Swim Patrol’s three levels – Rookie, Ranger and Star – continue to develop participants’ swim strokes and provide the skill foundation that prepares them for the success in the Society’s Bronze Medal Awards. Range Patrol 4:00 – 4:45 pm May 29 -June 20 (8 classes) $75.00
Safeguard The Safeguard Program emphasized the responsibilities Guardians/Group Leaders undertake when accompanying young people to recreational or instruction swims. The program stresses awareness, accident prevention and the principles of aquatic safety supervision. 4:30 – 8:30 pm (Single session) June 14 $25 plus applicable taxes
Lifesaving Society
Standard First Aid
For people who want a general knowledge of First Aid principles, includes CPR-B Certification, recognized by OWSIB. Not restricted to aquatic candidates 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Saturday & Sunday

NL Recertification NL Award holders will retake the practical examination and be updated on the latest developments in training techniques. Prerequisite: NL (need not be current) 9:00 am – 4:00 pm June 25 $60.00 Plus applicable taxes
WSI Recertification This clinic will update Water Safety Instructors on changes within the Red Cross Program and also share teaching strategies.
Prerequisites: Red Cross Water Safety Instructor award.
