Help Keep Our Community Warm, Donate to the Winter Warmth Drive

The City of Kenora and Kenora Makwa Patrol are hosting a Winter Warmth Drive once again this fall. 

Donate your clean, gently used, warm clothing at the Lake of the Woods Discovery Centre, 931 Lakeview Drive, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., seven days a week. We are closed on Tuesday, November 11.

Items needed:

• Sweaters
• Sweatshirts
• Winter jackets
• Jogging pants
• Hats and mitts
• Blankets

Bundle up your clean donations in a plastic bag to drop off. Please hand donations to City Staff directly. Do not leave donations at the door or outside of the Lake of the Woods Discovery Centre.

Donations accepted until November 30.

Your donations will make a significant difference in the lives of those in need this winter. The City is a partner on the Community Council for the Makwa Patrol, and this Drive is important for the patrollers to have warm clothing available for the people they are servicing.
