Third Street North Area Water Service Restored

Please be advised that the water repair on Third Street North is complete and water service has been restored.
Residents experiencing any discoloration or flow issues, are asked to follow these steps:
- Discoloration: Run the water until it clears.
- Sputtering: Turn on all hot and cold faucets to eliminate air pockets.
- Low Flow: Remove the faucet screen, clear any obstructions, and reinstall it.

Third Street North Area Water Services Interruption

Please be advised that there will be a temporary water services interruption on Tuesday, October 29, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for customers in the areas of Third Street North, Fourth Street North, and Fifth Street North between Main Street North and Matheson Street North.
See the service area noted in the map. Affected residents include:
- 202, 210, 214, 216 Third Street North
- 307 and 415 Main Street North
- 200 to 312 Fourth Street North

Keewatin Seasonal Water Service Shut-off

Please be advised that beginning on Monday, October 21, we will start the process of turning off water service to seasonal customers in Keewatin.
This work is weather-dependent. The shut-off process could start earlier if there are freezing temperatures.
We appreciate your understanding during this seasonal maintenance and anticipate resuming the water service as usual next spring.
Seasonal Washroom Closures

Please be advised that the seasonal washroom locations will be closing for the season on Tuesday, October 15. This closure date permits time to winterize and close the various facilities for the season, ensuring they are in ready to reopen in the spring. The water at the dog park will be turned off also.
Washroom facilities are available at the self-cleaning washroom on Chipman Street and the Thistle Pavilion at the Harbourfront, which are open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Partially Treated Wastewater Overflow Winnipeg River

Please be advised that between the evening of September 16 and morning of September 17 the City’s Wastewater Treatment Plant experienced an overflow of partially treated wastewater into the Winnipeg River due to heavy rainfall and pump failure. The overflow was diluted by the heavy rain flows coming into the Wastewater Treatment Plant, and then further diluted by the River waters.
