Please be advised snow removal operations will take place on Friday, December 13, on Second Street South between Park Street and Eighth Avenue South.
This portion of Second Street South will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The work plan may be adjusted if there are weather changes or if emergencies and other snow event priorities develop.

Water and Wastewater User Rate Changes for 2025 and 2026

Please be advised that effective January 1, 2025, City of Kenora water and wastewater user rates will increase by 8.8% to 9.2% (depending on meter size), for all customers in 2025 and 2026.
An average household that consumes 11.5 cubic meters of water can expect an increase of $12.61 per month in 2025 and $13.58 per month in 2026, depending on usage.

Temporary Road Closures for Santa Claus Parade

Kenora Kinsmen Club hosts its annual Santa Claus Parade on Saturday, November 30. Downtown streets within the parade route along First Street South, Chipman Street, Park Street, Second Street South, and Main Street South, will be temporarily closed from approximately 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on November 30.
