Norman Drive Road Closed Due to Significant Water Main Break

Please be advised that there is a significant water main break at Norman Drive, and repair crews are currently on-site addressing the issue. As a result, an emergency closure of Norman Drive and surrounding roads is in effect. Traffic control will be in place.
We urge all Keewatin residents to reduce their water usage during this time.
For those planning travel to and from the Norman and Keewatin areas, please use the Kenora Bypass to help facilitate the repair work and minimize travel disruptions.
Evergreen Water Station Out of Service

Please be advised that the Evergreen Water Station on Brinkman Road is temporarily out of service for repairs.
Customers may access water at the Crawford Water Station, off Mellick Avenue on Crawford Road.

Traffic Reduced to One Lane on Lakeview Drive

Please be advised that traffic on Lakeview Drive, from the Winnipeg River West Bridge to the Winnipeg River East Bridge (Hospital Bridge), will be reduced to a single lane on Sunday, February 16, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Flaggers will be on-site to manage traffic flow.
This temporary lane closure is necessary for geotechnical drilling in preparation for the City’s 2025 paving projects.

Snow Removal Keewatin

Please be advised that snow removal operations will take place on May Street, Ottawa Street, 6th Street, Erie Street, and Superior Street beginning on Tuesday, February 18, between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
The work plan may be adjusted if there are weather changes or if emergencies and other snow event priorities develop.
Signs will be posted in the snow removal area to indicate ‘No Parking’ zones. Vehicles parked in a signed snow removal zone may be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense.

Please be advised that Ninth Street North between Twelfth Avenue North and Thirteenth Avenue North will be reduced to a single lane on Wednesday, February 12, and Thursday, February 13, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
