The City of Kenora promotes the diversion of hazardous materials from the landfill by hosting regular Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) collection days, where residents have the opportunity to safely dispose of hazardous materials.
Beginning in June until the end of September, every Thursday from 9 am to 2 pm, residential customers can dispose of household hazardous waste at a Depot inside the Transfer Station. Call the Transfer Station for more information at 807-467-2980.
This is a FREE once-a-week service for our residential customers.
The HHW depot will close for the year after Thursday, September 26, 2019.
