Dave Bidini is a founding member of the rock band Rheostatics, and currently performs with Bidini band. In addition, he has published several books about music, travel and sports, and has written feature journalism pieces and columns for numerous Canadian magazines and newspapers. Bidini is the founder, organizer and band Leader of “Scotiabank Stolen from a Hockey Card” Concert.
Bryan Trottier played 18 seasons in the National Hockey League for the New York lsanders and Pittsburgh Penguins. He won four Stanley Cups with the Islanders, two with the Penguins, and one as an assistant coach with the Colorado Avalanche. Bryan holds the NHL record for points in a single period with six (four goals and two assists) in the second period against the Rangers on December 23, 1978. He is also one of only eight NHL players with multiple five-goal games. Bryan is a nine-time All Star, Calder trophy winner in 1976, Art Ross winner in 1979, Hart Trophy winner in 1979, Conn Smythe Trophy winner in 1989. Bryan grew up in Val Marie, Saskatchewan and was part of a family band.
Jackson Klippenstein is a 14 year old musician from Kenora, Ontario. Jackson first picked up the guitar at 8 years old and never looked back. From the sweet Delta sounds of the Steel Resonator, to the electric guitar of the Chicago Blues. Jackson has discovered a passion for Blues Music, and has become a dedicated student of the genre. When Jackson’s not playing music, he loves mountain biking through the trails around Kenora, skiing in the winter, and enjoying the lake in the summer. He loves playing guitar, and hopes to have a career in music someday.
Corey Nawolski and Mike Dean
Corey and Mike met through mutual friends 7 years ago. They immediately jived, and began playing in the local Kenora music scene. Corey’s incredibly versatile voice and Mike’s dynamic drumming have formed them into an energetic, loud, party band, playing covers from Van Morrison to Foo Fighters to Jason Aldean to Five Finger Death Punch. Corey and Mike are guaranteed to play songs you will know and love.
