Park Street and Railway Street Project

Park Street, Sixth Avenue South, and Seventh Avenue South

Sewer, water, and road reconstruction will begin on May 11, 2020 on Park Street.

Park Street will be closed to traffic and pedestrians from the Roundabout to Seventh Avenue South, allowing local traffic only. Detour signs will be posted. The project area is expected to be open in mid-July.

The intersection at Seventh Avenue South and First Street South is closed until further notice.

Park Street between Seventh Avenue South and Eighth Avenue South is reduced to a single lane during the day. Both lanes will be open in the evening after the work is completed for the day.

On Monday, July 20, 2020 Park Street at Ninth Avenue South to Tenth Avenue South and Maple Street will be closed to all traffic and pedestrians.

This closure is necessary to allow Moncrief Construction Limited to perform paving works.
