IJC WATERSHED BOARD WANTS YOUR HELP!
The IJC’s Rainy-Lake of the Woods Watershed Board launched a project this year to develop recommendations for water quality and aquatic ecosystem health Objectives and Alerts (advisory triggers) for the Rainy-Lake of the Woods Watershed. They would like to hear from you on your perspectives and expectations for aquatic ecosystem health in this basin. Community Resource Fair – Kenora Youth Services

Are you or someone you know a young person age 12-25? Are you aware of the wide variety of services available to youth in Kenora? Are you interested in finding out more about the new Youth Wellness Hub opening on Main Street? Join us on July 11 2-6PM at 7 Generations for a Community Resource Fair where you will have the opportunity to meet and greet with service providers who support youth in the field of mental health, substance use, employment, education, primary health care, housing, and other community and social services. Find out more about the exciting Youth Wellness Hub initiative and how it can benefit you or the young people in your life!

PRIDE BBQ! (family event)

Join us at a new location this year (Norman Park) for fun, food, and entertainment!

Free hotdogs and burgers (with vegetarian options available). Lots of games and activities for the kids. Fun for the whole family!

PRIDE March!

Always a blast, even when we get rained on! Join us in our march from the Lake of the Woods Museum to Husky the Muskie! All are welcome.

Pride Worship in the Park

Join Knox United Church, and affirming congregation, as they celebrate their annual Pride Worship at Anicinabe Park! All are welcome and encouraged to attend. Come for fruit and muffins at 10, followed by worship at 10:30.

Worship will be followed by a BBQ with games and activities.

Wine & Cheese

A great way to wrap up a busy Pride weekend! Join us for wine and appies in the beautiful gardens of Kendall House B & B.
This is an age of majority event.

PRIDE Open Mic & Story Telling

Join us for an intimate night of stories, songs, art, and everything in between, celebrating the LBGTQ2S+ community (allies can share too). Don’t feel comfortable sharing your story? Submit it anonymously and we will share it on your behalf (without identifying you!)

Pride Yoga

Join the Arts Hub in celebrating diversity and come to PRIDE yoga! This beginner level yoga class is open to everyone, no experience is necessary. Wear your favorite PRIDE gear, or just come to practice and show solidarity with the LGBTQ2S+ community here in Kenora. This event is free!
Bring your own yoga mat or use some of our spares.
