Resiliency Gardens

We are pleased to present the culmination of our Get Resilient: Grow Food! campaign with this application to participate in our Resiliency Garden initiative! Application link:
In order to grow more food in our community while abiding by physical distancing measures, we endeavour to knock down barriers to growing food at home through our Resiliency Garden initiative. We will be providing participants with *free* gardening materials including seeds, transplants, compost and (some) soil. For those that don’t have the ability or interest in converting their yard into a garden, we provide the option of container gardens as well! Ongoing support will be provided throughout the growing season to help maintain and care for your Resiliency Gardens – but first we need you to get them started! If you face any barriers to growing your own food at home, apply within! We will be accepting applications until May 19th.
Thanks, as always, to the KACL Arts Hub for partnering with us on this project, as well as KLWCF for sponsoring it!
