Notice of Complete Applications to Purchase City Property & Intent to Close Unopened Road Allowance and Deem City Owned Lands Surplus
The Corporation of the City of Kenora has received two applications from abutting land owners to purchase City Property (unopened road allowance) for two (2) lot additions at St. Clair Street and Twelfth Street, in Keewatin. The purpose of this notice is to notify the public of the by-law that will be under consideration to close unopened road allowance and declare that land available for disposal. The By-law will be placed on the Council Agenda for consideration on February 19th, 2019.
The subject land would be surveyed in two pieces, generally being 5m in width and 56 m in length. Refer to the snapshot of Reference Plan of Survey 23R-12145. The subject property is proposed to be sold and consolidated with abutting lands for shoreline development due to challenging slope of the shoreline fronting existing lots.
Inquiries and submissions can be made to Devon McCloskey, City Planner, at 807-467-2059, by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or at the address below.
