The Corporation of the City of Kenora has received an application from an abutting land owner to purchase City Property for lot addition at Dowcett Street and Veterans Drive. The property includes the western portion of an unopened lane, as well as unserviced lots located north of the property. Refer to the sketch below for an illustration.
The purpose of this notice is to notify the public of the by-law that will be under consideration to declare the lands available for disposal. The By-law will be placed on the Council Agenda for consideration on June 19th, 2018.
The subject lands are described as being a 0.1 ha parcel located along the western portion of Sultana Ave, as well as Lots 5 and 6, on Plan M106, which are both approximately 0.04 ha. The lands are vacant and only available for limited use due to their size and serviceability constraints.
