2017 Canada Summer Games

Come out to watch Canada’s young athletes representing our provinces and territories compete in the 2017 Canada Summer Games Rowing Event at the Kenora Rowing Club on Rabbit Lake!

This is a FREE event!  No tickets are required courtesy of  Manitoba’s Credit Unions.

Event parking is designated at the Kenora Sportsplex (former JM Arena), 16 Bunny Street.   It’s a short 10 minute walk to the venue from Kenora Sportsplex.  Shuttle service is available on race days.  There is a drop off/pick up zone for anyone with mobility issues as there is limited accessible parking at the Kenora Rowing Club.

There is no parking along Birchwood Crescent and Rabbit Lake Road.  Please use the Kenora Sportsplex lot.

Bring your lawn chair to get a front line seat to the sport action.   Don’t forget sunscreen and water!

Volunteers Needed for 2017 Canada Summer Games

2017 Canada Summer Games has put out the call to find over 6,000 volunteers to help with the multi-sport event next summer. An application process has been set up through the 2017 Canada Summer Games website and there is also a volunteer recruitment video enticing people to help out.

Two Years Out – Kenora to Host 2017 Canada Summer Games Rowing Venue
