Age-Friendly Steering Committee Looking for Feedback

Kenora’s Age-Friendly Community Steering Committee is looking for feedback from older adults, age 55 or over, and living in Kenora.    An Age-Friendly Community Survey has been developed to gather information to be used in community planning to ensure active, safe and meaningful lives for older persons.   The confidential survey may take up to 20 minutes to complete questions relating to housing; community support and health services; transportation; communication and information; employment, civic participation and volunteering; social participation; respect and social inclusion; and outdoor spaces and public building.   The survey can be completed online or it is available in paper format at the following locations: Kenora Public Library – both Kenora & Keewatin branches, New Horizons Seniors Centre – both Kenora & Keewatin locations, and Gardiner, Benedickson, and Parkview apartments.
