Ninth Street North Boulevard Paving

Please be advised that the boulevard on Ninth Street North from Scramble Avenue to Houghton Road will be paved on Tuesday, May 14, beginning at 7:00 a.m.
Traffic control will be in place with flagging during paving operations.

What's Open, Closed This Victoria Day Holiday

On Monday, May 20, the Lake of the Woods Discovery Centre is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
All other City buildings and facilities are closed, including the Transfer Station, Kenora Public Libraries, The Muse, Operations Centre, City Hall, and Moncrief Construction Sports Centre.
There is no bus service on the holiday.
Coney Island recycle and waste collection starts Tuesday, May 21.
Emergency services on duty as usual. For after-hours troubles, please call 807-467-2080.

Anderson Branch Road Maintenance

Please be advised that City crews will perform maintenance on Anderson Branch Road to replace and repair the hard surface starting Wednesday, May 8.
Heavy equipment will work to pull up the hard surface in some sections, work it back into the road, and then follow with new aggregate on top. This work is some of what is planned for the capital budget investment in the City's hard surface roads.
Signage and traffic control will be present. Motorists should use caution and reduce speeds in all work...

Lakeview Drive Capital Improvement Project

The City is excited to announce the Lakeview Drive paving project. Work to install new asphalt surfacing between the Roundabout and the Hospital Bridge (Winnipeg River East Branch Bridge) will start Monday, May 13. The project includes periods of overnight work to complete the project quickly.
Here’s what you can expect:
- During the day, two-way traffic will slowly and safely continue through the construction zone.
